Why an IPL score can stay unchanged

A score may stay unchanged during a dot ball, break, review or delay. Read the match state before treating a static number as a connection fault.

Watch more than runs

Runs can remain the same while the ball count changes. A delivery with no run can still advance the over if it is valid. Check wickets and ball notation as well as the total to see whether play is progressing.

Look for an interruption

An innings break, weather delay or other stoppage can leave the latest score visible. The status text gives context that the run total alone cannot provide. Check the competition's current match information when timing matters.

Distinguish cached content

A saved screenshot cannot update. A live page can also lag or show an earlier cached view. Compare the update time and match identity before refreshing once or consulting the competition source. The unchanged number does not identify the cause by itself.
